Description Our client in Vancouver, WA is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This position offers a unique 4-day, 10-hour schedule, giving you a three-day weekend every week while still working full-time hours. The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting professional with strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: + Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations + Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with GAAP + Support accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed + Prepare financial reports and assist with variance analysis + Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects + Collaborate cross-functionally with finance and operations teams Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 2+ years of accounting experience (public or corporate) Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (ERP experience preferred) Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
