Job Title: Staff Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Staff Accountant to join our team at our facility in Highland Heights, Ohio. This role is vital for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations and requires close collaboration with the Controller.

ResponsibilitiesPerform month-end closing processes in accordance with deadlines.Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.Provide support to key accounting functions including inventory valuation and reconciliations.Assist in month-end close process by analyzing results.Manage fixed assets by tracking and recording capital expenditures.Implement continuous improvements to workpapers and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Essential SkillsProficiency in month-end processes, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliation.Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable.Experience with financial statements and reconciliations.Experience with basic accruals and standard journal entries.Strong Excel skills.ERP experience is required.QualificationsAccounting experience in manufacturing or distribution environments is required.Bachelor's degree in Accounting.2-4 years of experience as a Staff Accountant.Work Environment

This position is 100% office-based from Monday to Friday, where you will collaborate closely with the team in a professional setting.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
