Staff Accountant

What is the role about? 

This role ensures accurate financial reporting and compliance, which supports strategic decision-making across the organization. In addition, by supporting audits and internal controls, they help safeguard company assets and uphold Endress+Hauser’s commitment to excellence and transparency.

Which tasks will you perform? 

Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.  Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.  Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.  Support the preparation of financial statements and internal reports.   Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions as needed.   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting.  Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.

What do we expect from you? 

You will have (required): 

Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Accounting/Finance or Business Administration 

You may have (preferred):  

1–3 years of accounting experience  Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, or International Accounting Standards   Proficient in Microsoft Excel  Proficient in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)  Strong written and verbal communication skills  Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines  Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
