Description Robert Half is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Full-Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP) team. As a Staff Accountant within the FTEP program, you’ll have the unique opportunity to work across multiple industries and businesses, gaining broad experience and developing your professional skill set in a collaborative and supportive environment. You’ll be deployed to support critical accounting functions for our clients—including month-end close process, general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and compliance activities. Responsibilities: + Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries. + Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of accounting records. + Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP. + Assist with audits and regulatory compliance reporting. + Support budgeting and forecasting processes. + Analyze financial data and recommend process improvement initiatives. + Collaborate with client teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Requirements Requirements: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. + 2+ years of relevant accounting experience. + Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (GAAP). + Proficiency in accounting software platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP). + Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools. + Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. + Ability to quickly adapt to different industries and work environments.
