Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Eden Prairie area. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial data, and supporting the organization's financial objectives. Responsibilities: • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness. • Prepare and issue customer invoices while maintaining detailed records. • Follow up on overdue invoices to ensure prompt payment from customers. • Record and apply customer cash receipts in the accounting system. • Manage inventory receipt processes within the accounting system. • Assist in month-end accounting procedures to finalize financial records and reports. • Assist in gathering documentation required for annual financial audits. • Reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. • Participate in special projects and initiatives, utilizing accounting expertise to support business goals. Requirements • Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Strong experience with bank reconciliations and general ledger management. • Familiarity with journal entries and their application in accounting. • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software. • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
