This position will analyze, prepare and report financial information in a consistent and timely manner. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** + Maintain and reconcile fixed asset records for multiple business entities, ensuring accurate depreciation and asset tracking + Coordinate intercompany asset transfers and ensure proper documentation and accounting treatment + Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports regarding the Fixed Assets and capital expenditures + Analyze general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies or variances + Manage lease accounting activities, including tracking lease agreements, calculating right-of-use assets and lease liabilities while ensuring compliance with ASC 842 (or IFRS 16) lease accounting standards + Coordinate and assist with corporate sales and use tax reporting + Track and classify tangible property to support tax filings and compliance + Overall general review of accounting procedures/practices and reporting to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Teledyne Corporate guidelines. + Maintain documentation on internal control and accounting processes for Corporate and Sarbanes Oxley 404 compliance. **Education and Experience:** + Bachelor’s Degree - Accounting + 3+ Manufacturing accounting experience **Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** + Ability to identify and/or recognize accounting issues/processes that can be improved upon and develop innovative appropriate approaches for implementation. + Ability to maintain a service-oriented approach to all activities and work effectively with various departments and operations. + Ability to work individually and in a team environment. + Proficient in MS Office programs, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Active role in IFS (accounting/information system) maintenance and upgrade process. + Excellent organizational skills. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ************************ _What can Teledyne offer YOU?_ A Competitive Salary & Benefits Package Excellent Health, Dental, Vision Paid Vacation Time Paid Sick Time Life Insurance Benefits Paid Holidays 401(k) Eligibility Employee Stock Purchase Plan Fitness Challenges Educational Tuition Reimbursement Employee Fun Events throughout the year Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
