Responsibilities: + Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy in all entries. + Prepare journal entries, balance sheets, and income statements in compliance with GAAP. + Process accounts payable and receivable transactions and monitor for discrepancies. + Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. + Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management. + Analyze financial data and provide insights to support effective decision-making. + Work closely with auditors, providing documentation to support annual audits. + Monitor compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. + Provide support to the accounting team as needed to ensure operational excellence. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. + 1-3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related role. + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills. + Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP). + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. + Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams.
