Description Robert Half is looking for highly skilled and motivated accounting professionals to join our Full-Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP) program. Key Responsibilities As a Staff Accountant in the Full-Time Engagement Professionals program, you will: + Prepare and reconcile complex financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and other supporting schedules (Source: Position Description Questionnaire). + Perform month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and client-specific requirements. + Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, including processing, reconciliation, and reporting tasks. + Maintain and prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger work. + Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and tax professionals, to support financial reporting and audits (Source: Powerful Word Tracks). + Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing analytical insights and variance analysis when required. + Collaborate with other team members to streamline accounting processes, improve financial reporting efficiency, and implement new systems or tools. + Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as required by clients. Requirements Qualifications We are seeking self-motivated accounting professionals with strong technical abilities, excellent communication skills, and the desire to learn and grow. Ideal candidates will have: + A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or other accounting certifications preferred but not required). + 2+ years of progressive experience in general accounting, including experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. + Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Source: Position Description Questionnaire). + The ability to quickly adapt to new environments and learn client-specific processes or software. + Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a focus on delivering high-quality work. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building effective relationships with clients and internal teams.
