Description Robert Half is partnered with a rapidly growing healthcare company is search of a detail-oriented senior staff accountant. In this role, you will contribute to various accounting tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with standard practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities: • Contribute to daily accounting operations, including maintaining the general ledger and preparing detailed financial reports. • Conduct in-depth analysis of accounts receivable ledger to ensure revenue accuracy and resolve discrepancies. • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards. • Implement cost control measures by analyzing expenses and identifying opportunities for improvement. • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide timely financial and statistical information for decision-making. • Utilize accounting software such as Great Plains to input, analyze, and manage financial data efficiently. • Uphold organizational values and customer service standards in all financial activities. • Develop and refine processes to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of accounting workflows. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. • At least four years of experience in accounting, with healthcare experience considered a plus. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential. • Familiarity with Windows-based general ledger software, with preference for Great Plains or NetSuite. • Proven experience in preparing financial statements and conducting detailed analyses. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address financial challenges effectively. • Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative. • Solid understanding of standard accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
