Key Responsibilities: · Manage day-to-day accounting responsibilities, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and maintaining general ledger accuracy. · Process and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in Sage accounting software. · Prepare monthly and yearly financial statements for management review. · Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to support strategic goals. · Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and industry guidelines. · Collaborate with project teams to provide accurate cost tracking and reporting. · Support audits and provide necessary documentation for compliance verification. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. · Experience using Sage accounting software is preferred. AppFolio experience is a plus. · 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction or real estate industries. · Solid understanding of general accounting and accounting operations. · Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (advanced knowledge preferred). · Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities effectively.
