Description We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Beverly Hills, California. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities: • Manage accounts payable processes, including reviewing, verifying, and processing invoices. • Handle payroll activities for seasonal employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments. • Assist in month-end close procedures, including reconciliations and journal entries. • Verify financial documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Support general ledger maintenance and updates as required. • Collaborate with team members to improve financial workflows and reporting. • Prepare and review financial reports to provide insights for decision-making. • Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and payroll processing. • Familiarity with month-end close procedures and general ledger accounting. • Strong attention to detail and ability to verify documentation accurately. • Proficiency in accounting software and tools. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. • Solid understanding of accounting principles and compliance requirements.
