Description We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in Southlake, Texas. This is a Contract to permanent position within the real estate and property management industry, offering an excellent opportunity for growth and skill development. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial operations for a portfolio of properties and supporting property managers with accurate and timely accounting processes. Responsibilities: • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. • Process invoices for payment and maintain detailed financial records. • Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies using spreadsheet tools. • Audit property accounts to ensure proper financial reporting and address variances between actuals and budgets. • Generate and distribute required financial reports to stakeholders. • Communicate effectively with property managers to resolve financial inquiries and provide support. • Utilize accounting software, including RealPage Onesite, to record and retrieve transactions. • Research and analyze financial data to support decision-making processes. • Maintain organization and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines consistently. • Apply attention to detail and sound judgment in all accounting activities. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Proficiency in Excel, including formulas and spreadsheet management. • Familiarity with property accounting systems, such as RealPage Onesite, or equivalent software. • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. • Excellent communication abilities for interacting with property managers and team members. • Analytical mindset to address financial variances and conduct research when needed. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment. • Commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
