Description We are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team in Daytona Beach, Florida. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to key financial operations while advancing your career with a focus on detail-oriented work. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in corporate tax, general ledger management, and financial reconciliations. Responsibilities: • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the general ledger. • Reconcile accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank statements to ensure consistency and accuracy. • Prepare detailed financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, offering valuable insights into organizational performance. • Handle corporate and sales tax filings, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. • Manage journal entries and adjustments to support precise financial reporting. • Utilize CSA (Creative Solutions Accounting) to oversee and streamline accounting processes. • Process payroll transactions and ensure timely payments to employees. • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable operations by verifying invoices and managing collections. Requirements • A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field. • Experience with CSA (Creative Solutions Accounting) a huge plus! (Not required) • Proficiency in corporate tax, including corporate tax returns and sales tax filings. • Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entries. • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks for accounting tasks. • Familiarity with payroll processing and associated regulations. • Expertise in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
