Key Responsibilities: + Provide accounting support to clients across various industries as a dedicated professional representing Robert Half. + Perform essential staff accounting tasks, including reconciliations, financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger maintenance. + Collaborate with client teams on-site to identify and solve accounting challenges. + Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze data, prepare reports, and support decision-making. + Adapt to client requirements, processes, and systems while adhering to key accounting principles and standards. Requirements + Staff Accounting Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required. + Excel Expertise: Mastery of pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and other advanced Excel tools is essential. + Flexibility to Travel: Must be willing to commute and travel to various client locations across Long Island, NY. + On-Site Commitment: This is not a remote role; you must be available to work on location. + Public Accounting Experience (Plus): Previous experience in public accounting is a strong advantage. + Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams. + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
