Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: + Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and maintain supporting documentation. + Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings. + Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and ensure proper coding. + Support the preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP. + Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly. + Collaborate with internal teams on budgeting and forecasting activities. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. + 2+ years of accounting experience (public or corporate). + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with [ERP software name if known] is a plus. + Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. + Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
