Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team on a contract basis. This position involves reviewing and classifying financial transactions to ensure the accuracy of our records in QuickBooks Online. The role is based in Los Angeles, California, and offers a short-term opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our bookkeeping processes. Responsibilities: • Review and accurately classify approximately 40 financial transactions per month, dating back to the beginning of the year. • Ensure all financial data is properly categorized and recorded in QuickBooks Online. • Utilize Smartsheets to track project progress and provide regular updates. • Collaborate with internal teams to confirm the accuracy and completeness of all financial records. • Maintain meticulous attention to detail to ensure compliance with accounting standards. • Work independently to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results. Requirements • Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar accounting role. • Expertise in using QuickBooks Online for financial record management. • Familiarity with Smartsheets for project tracking and collaboration. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data classification. • Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams.
