We want your knowledge and expertise! **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Staff Accountant is responsible for any and all balance sheet reconciliations, financial statement analysis, performs intercompany accounting, processes various physician billing, processes various patient transactions, performs cash transfers, preparation of various financial reports, implements and reviews Corporate and Division financial policies, assists in writing Accounting policies, and any other duties as assigned. + You will ensure that financial statements are properly stated by following HCA Accounting Policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles + You will ensure that balance sheet accounts are reconciled and that the Balance Sheet Review Guide is completed appropriately and timely + You will establish processes and procedures for completing assigned work accurately and in a timely manner + You will assist in the completion of the monthly close process and ensure that closing procedures are completed accurately + You will assist in the completion of quarterly SOX compliance audits **What qualifications you will need:** + High School Diploma Required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Required + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting Required + Two years of previous computer experience preferred + Two years of previous general ledger accounting or bookkeeping preferred + License: None required HCA Far West Division is a part of an exceptional network of hospitals throughout California and Nevada.
