Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our client's team. This role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a leading manufacturing organization while leveraging your accounting expertise. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial records, preparing reports, and driving operational efficiency. Responsibilities: • Prepare weekly and monthly journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting. • Manage inter-company accounting transactions and reconciliations.• Compile and analyze financial statements to ensure compliance with organizational policies. • Reconcile balance sheets and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. • Participate in special accounting projects to support business objectives. • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics AX and Excel to streamline accounting processes. • Collaborate with internal teams to improve communication and accounting procedures. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting roles • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel skills. • Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entry • Experience with account reconciliations and month end close procedures • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. • High level of initiative and a strong drive for success in a fast-paced environment.
