Description Staff Accountant (Focus: Reconciliations & Income Audit) Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our accounting operations with a focus on account reconciliations and income audit functions. The ideal candidate will ensure financial accuracy, maintain internal controls, and assist in preparing financial reports. Key Responsibilities: + Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank and account reconciliations + Conduct income audits, verifying daily revenue reports and identifying discrepancies + Assist with general ledger maintenance and journal entries + Support month-end and year-end closing processes + Review and reconcile credit card transactions and deposits + Collaborate with internal departments to resolve variances and improve reporting accuracy + Prepare supporting documentation for audits and financial reviews Requirements Requirements: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field + 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in reconciliation or income auditing + Strong understanding of GAAP and financial principles + Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) + High attention to detail and strong analytical skills + Excellent organizational and communication abilities For immediate consideration, please send a copy of your resume to brenda.arce@roberthalf.cm or call 305-504-5029.
