Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for maintaining accurate financial records. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in managing accounts, ensuring compliance, and supporting the financial health of the organization. Responsibilities: • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions. • Perform bank reconciliations to maintain alignment between financial records and actual account balances. • Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness. • Assist in the month-end close process by analyzing and reconciling account balances. • Maintain and update financial records in accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. • Support audits and compliance initiatives by providing necessary documentation and reports. • Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and accuracy. • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable management. • Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations and maintaining general ledger accounts. • Strong knowledge of accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. • Ability to prepare and post journal entries with precision. • Familiarity with month-end close procedures and financial reporting. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
