Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Staff Accountant with proficiency in QuickBooks to support the financial operations of a growing organization. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with solid problem-solving skills, a passion for numbers, and a thrive-for-excellence mindset. Key Responsibilities: + Prepare and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards. + Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and intercompany accounts. + Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles, including tracking vendor payments and customer invoices. + Utilize QuickBooks to record transactions, run reports, and perform data analysis. + Assist with month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries and adjusting entries as needed. + Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursement using QuickBooks or other tools. + Collaborate with internal teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation. + Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to streamline accounting operations. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. + 1-3 years of accounting experience in a similar role (internship experience may count). + Strong proficiency with QuickBooks (desktop and/or online versions). + Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP), and experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and financial report preparation. + Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and other Office Suite tools.
