Staff Accountant

Job Overview: The Staff Accountant will play a key role in managing critical day-to-day accounting functions, assisting with financial reporting, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. Key Responsibilities: + Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and accurate invoicing. + Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts. + Prepare and record journal entries, ensuring consistency and compliance with accounting standards. + Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. + Support audit and tax processes by maintaining accurate financial records and files. + Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. + Collaborate with management on budgeting and forecasting efforts. + Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required). + Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role. + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel. + Solid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting. + High attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data. + Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. + Strong communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and management.
