Description For more information, contact Jason Young @ 937/637-7759 Our client, a staple in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Staff Accountant to support their finance and accounting team. The Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting various aspects of accounting which include fixed asset accounting, executing month-end close responsibilities, assisting with standard costing and preparing journal entries. Key Responsibilities: · Assist with standard costing procedures and analysis · Fixed asset accounting including capital project tracking and capitalization, monthly depreciation processing and tie-outs · Assist in month-end close duties by preparing and posting journal entries, reconcile and close cash accounts and analyze financial data and variances for monthly reporting · Conduct general ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy and completeness of account balances · Support financial analysis and reporting related to inventory, cost of goods sold, and manufacturing operations Requirements Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field · 2+ years of related accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment · Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas) · Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) · Strong understanding of GAAP and fixed asset accounting principles · Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
