Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our client's team in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will contribute to the financial health of our organization by managing essential accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting operational processes. This is a long-term contract position, offering an opportunity to develop your expertise in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Responsibilities: • Prepare and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments. • Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. • Maintain and update the general ledger with precision to support financial reporting. • Create and post journal entries as part of routine accounting procedures. • Assist in month-end close activities, ensuring compliance with deadlines and accuracy. • Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to streamline operations. • Provide support for financial audits and regulatory compliance requirements. • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements. • Generate financial reports and analyses to support decision-making processes. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field. • Proficiency in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance. • Experience with journal entries and month-end close procedures. • Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
