Description We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in Surfside, Florida. In this position, you will play a key role in managing daily accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards. Responsibilities: • Oversee and process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions efficiently and accurately. • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and promptly address any discrepancies. • Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records. • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and detailed reports. • Support the execution of month-end and year-end closing procedures. • Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting regulations in all financial operations. • Collaborate with various departments to resolve billing and payment-related concerns. • Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP to manage financial data effectively. Requirements • Proven experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes. • Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance. • Proficiency in preparing journal entries and conducting month-end close activities. • Familiarity with accounting software, including NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP. • Ability to produce accurate financial statements and reports. • Excellent problem-solving skills to address discrepancies and resolve issues. • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records. • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
