Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Worcester, Massachusetts. In this role, you will handle a variety of financial and accounting responsibilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records. For immediate interview please call Victor Muller at 508 205 2136 Responsibilities: • Manage daily accounting operations, including billing, expenditures, and financial reporting, in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles. • Collaborate with the Controller to assist with budgeting, cost allocation, and financial analyses. • Perform Accounts Receivable tasks, including resolving customer invoice and payment discrepancies. • Handle Accounts Payable duties, such as processing vendor payments and addressing issues as they arise. • Audit and monitor administrative AR and AP procedures to ensure best practices and accuracy. • Maintain accurate financial records within automated financial and management information systems. • Support inventory control activities and ensure accurate reporting of inventory data. • Assist in preparing financial reports, • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory reporting requirements. • Month end close, Journal entries and General ledger activities.
