What you will do…    

Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivableBank reconciliationsCreate GL entriesAssist in preparing financial tax audit schedules and documentationPlay a key role in month-end and year-end close processEnsure compliance with GAAP principlesAssist in developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies for policy and procedure manualPayroll management and processing, including monthly payroll journal entries.Client communication as required to resolve client needs and concernsVarious internal accounting processes to support our success (i.e. process client agreements, reconcile revenue between internal software to accounting software, etc.)

What you will bring…    

A bachelor’s degree in accounting requiredCPA candidate preferred3+ years as a staff accountantThorough knowledge of accounting proceduresIn-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Have full understanding of financial accounting statementsExperience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close processAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills including filters, lookups, and pivot tablesA keen eye for accuracy, efficiency, and have an attention to detailAbility to work in the Dallas office as this is not a remote position
