Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Specialist to support our financial operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions, supporting month-end processes, and maintaining compliance with internal controls. Key Responsibilities: + Perform weekly cash reconciliations and post necessary adjustments in a timely manner. + Prepare general ledger journal entries as part of the monthly close process. + Investigate integration discrepancies and compile sales data for reporting and analysis. + Accurately process customer refunds and inventory-related payments. + Audit and verify client payments to ensure accuracy prior to processing. + Conduct variance analyses to identify financial discrepancies and investigate irregular transactions. + Record settlement fee invoices in the accounts payable system. + Coordinate audit activities by managing and responding to audit requests. + Provide backup support across accounting functions and contribute to special projects as needed. Requirements • Associate degree in Business Administration or at least 2 years of experience as a Staff Accountant, including roles in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. • Bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred. • Familiarity with Microsoft Great Plains and large-scale systems • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in financial work. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including expertise in data manipulation and complex formulas.
