Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our FTEP program and work with companies in the San Ramon, CA area. As a Staff Accountant, you will support our clients by performing general accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, executing month-end close activities, and ensuring financial compliance.

Key Responsibilities
+ Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledger entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (Source: RHI Job Descriptions).
+ Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings, including reconciliation of accounts and preparation of journal entries.
+ Analyze and report on variances in financial statements to support leadership decision-making.
+ Process and reconcile accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions.
+ Assist with audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation (context: RH Acronym Guide).
+ Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
+ Collaborate with tax and finance teams to support various initiatives (context: finance/accounting industry standards).
Requirements
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
+ Experience: 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance. Experience across multiple industries is helpful due to the variety in FTEP engagements.
+ Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems like NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
+ Strong analytical abilities and a keen attention to detail.
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
+ Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in dynamic work environments and industries.
