Description We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in Monrovia, California. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting month-end processes. Responsibilities: • Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. • Conduct detailed expense analysis and prepare accruals to maintain accurate financial records. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, ensuring smooth workflows. • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain the general ledger to ensure data accuracy. • Prepare and post journal entries in compliance with accounting standards. • Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP to streamline operations. • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with lease accounting and fixed asset management. • Analyze financial data to support decision-making and improve operational efficiency. • Assist with audits and ensure adherence to internal controls and procedures. • Provide support in special projects as needed by the accounting department. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. • Proven experience with month-end close processes, accruals, and expense analysis. • Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP. • Strong knowledge of general ledger, journal entries, and financial reconciliations. • Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Experience with fixed assets and lease accounting is a plus. • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work fully onsite in Monrovia, California.
