Description A dynamic and fast-growing company in Carlsbad, CA, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join their finance team. Key Responsibilities: + Prepare journal entries, financial statements, and monthly account reconciliations. + Assist in the month-end and year-end close process to ensure timely reporting. + Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including billing and collection efforts. + Conduct variance analyses and generate reports for leadership to support financial decision-making. + Contribute to financial audits by preparing schedules and assisting external auditors. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain budget accuracy and compliance. + Stay updated on GAAP principles to ensure accurate financial reporting. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. + 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment. + Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills. + Strong understanding of general ledger and journal entry processes. + Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. + Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.
