Your Job:
The Staff Accountant 2 prepares journal entries, bank and account reconciliations, and assists in annual financial audit.
May involve setting up templates in Workday and some investigative work for historical data, as requested.
Your Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree with at least 12 hours of accounting is preferred but not required, or related work experience
• Work Experience: 4 years experience
• Ability to type 50 words per minute
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Computer Skills: Proficient Excel and Word skills required
• Hospital accounting experience preferred
• Ten-key touch
Your Job Responsibilities:
• Bank account reconciliations
• Other Cash/Banking general ledger account reconciliations
• Record and reconcile daily cash/credit card transactions
• Prepare standard and general journal entries for month end close
• Assist with preparation of audit schedules as needed
• Analyze and report on monthly variance and trends related to cash/credit card transactions
• Assist leadership with inquiries related to cash/credit card postings
• Must be able to communicate clearly and openly
