Your New Role:
The Staff, Portfolio Operations and Compliance is responsible for the operations and compliance of a large scale portfolio of enterprise applications and related projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a large scale portfolio of technology projects, expertise in security standards and compliance audit, and operational administration for global teams.
Your Role Accountabilities:
OVERSEE OPERATIONS
Assist the Strategy & Operations team, key stakeholders, and leadership to prioritize operational requirements and develop and maintain detailed runbooks using standard tools
Assist with organizational administration: employee and external worker onboarding, system access provisioning, leadership communications, financial planning, and event organization
Maintain and promote internal communication platforms (social media, intranet, collaboration tools)
Assist with developing and defining new and improved workflow and initiatives
Help provide training and training materials for new processes
Assist leadership with special assignments, such as evaluating vendors, gathering/evaluating consultant proposals, supporting culture initiatives, or other responsibilities as requested
MANAGE STAKEHOLDERS
Collaborate with stakeholders to collect necessary information and updates specific to their projects and products
Assist the Strategy & Operations team with identifying and analyzing stakeholders (business customers, vendors, and partners)
Assist with engagement plan development and drive effective partnerships through tracking, operational support, and continuous process improvement
Create visually appealing and content-rich PowerPoint presentations for executive business partners (customers) and internal communications
OVERSEE PROJECT AND APPLICATION PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT
Manage Enterprise Technology’s project and application portfolios and conduct portfolio reviews with portfolio owners, project owners, product owners, and executive leadership
Maintain the Enterprise Technology service catalog
Facilitate and enforce portfolio management adoption, utilization, and communication
Provide oversight on the portfolios and tracking of department-wide goals, metrics, and accomplishments
Support standardization of project management tools and processes, aligning with the executive PMO
Support service performance management and SLA tracking efforts
APPLICATION PORTFOLIO COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT
Manage policy and standards adherence for Enterprise Technology’s application portfolio, planning and overseeing portfolio reviews with portfolio owners, project owners, and product owners
Track and follow up on compliance results
Facilitate and enforce standard and policy adoption, utilization, and communication
Maintain compliance results in central repositories and generate dashboards / ad hoc summary presentations as required
Liaise between various teams including infrastructure teams, cloud teams, vulnerability management team, and application and asset owners
Maintain and validate disaster recovery plans,
Accurately and clearly articulate strategic issues and provide relevant, logical options for solving them
Lead specific security projects ensuring compliance with best practices.
SUPPORT STRATEGY ALIGNMENT
Ensure ESS goals are aligned and implemented across project and product teams, reflected in project portfolio reporting and tracking
Assist in developing and executing a methodology to evaluate, prioritize and monitor the success of Compliance, Operations and PPM/PMO processes
Accurately and clearly articulate strategic issues and provide relevant, logical options for solving them
Qualifications & Experiences:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
8+ years of prior experience in a related field (project/program/portfolio management, business consulting, IT security, compliance or audit project management)
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
Expert user of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint); working knowledge of Smartsheet and visualization tools, e.g., Power BI, Tableau
A passion for accuracy and translating insights into a compelling narrative; able to maintain a balance between the details and the larger picture
Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication
Superb relationship building and collaboration skills
Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently
People management experience
Experience in disaster recovery planning and vulnerability management.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Not Required but preferred experience:
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or related.
Experience working with cloud technologies and environments, especially AWS.
Previous experience in large, cross-functional projects or initiatives.
Advanced degree in a related field.
