Stryker is seeking to hire a Staff Engineer, Advanced Operations to be responsible for the transfer of new products from research & design into manufacturing in Weston, FL at Stryker’s Robotics Innovation Center.
WHAT WILL YOU DO:
As the Staff Engineer, Advanced Operations, you will be responsible for executing engineering tasks to support various projects. More specifically you will be:
Select inspection strategies for critical quality attributes on componentsComplete Test Method Validation studies and generate subsequent Inspection documentationTroubleshoot failures in TMV studies and provide appropriate solutionsProvide engineering support for new product and process introductions, ensuring that all activities are completed and documented in accordance with the Stryker new product development procedures.May lead/support capital acquisition activity from specifying equipment, contract negotiation, Installation and validation.Lead and/or participate in process review meetings.Participate in PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP and PPAP generation associated with product transfers and launches.Review and approval of validation documentation.WHAT YOU NEED:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering. (Mechanical or Industrial preferred)4 years related work experiencePreferred Skills:
Regulated manufacturing industry. (Medical device, Aerospace, or Automotive)Demonstrated ability to deliver project tasks on time with a focus on quality required.Experience troubleshooting and solving engineering related problemsExperience with a wide variety of inspection tools and their qualificationExperience executing Measurement System Analysis (MSA)Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and understanding geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing and validationGood understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), related statistical tools and validation/verification techniquesGood knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, product and process designTravel Percentage: 10%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
