Our client, a leader in the food production industry, is seeking a Stacker to join their team. As a Stacker, you will be part of the production department supporting the operational team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Stacker

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Pay Range: $18 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift - 5am to 1:30pm; 2nd Shift - 11am to 7:30pm (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)

What's the Job?

Assist the cook, mixer, or machine operator with stacking products as they come off the production line. Stack finished products in various containers on GMA pallets while ensuring proper monitoring of codes, cartons, weights, and package integrity. Maintain a clean working environment by sanitizing equipment and the physical plant. Report any potential contamination or food safety issues to a Supervisor or Manager immediately. Inspect and select high-quality pallets for use in palletizing finished products for shipment.

What's Needed?

No prior experience is required; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Ability to bend and lift weights up to 50 lbs. Strong commitment to food safety and quality production standards. Willingness to follow Good Hygiene, Safe Work Practices, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Effective communication skills to notify the Line Operator of any production issues.
