Stacker - Fresno, CA Monitors ongoing loads from corrugator that are feeding into the Flexo Folder Gluer machines (FFG). Performs a variety of tasks while machine runs to supplement activities of other team members. * Machine set up * Removes sheets from machine when necessary (jams, warps) * Picks up, pulls and stacks sheets * Moves loads weighing up to 50 lbs. * Climbs with ink buckets weighing up to 50 lbs. * Viscosity checks on ink * Ink bucket set ups * Makes adjustments to machinery as needed * Execute machine clean up procedure as required. Complete Quality checklist. * Safety and information management * Put out fires, if necessary * Pick up kicked out sheets * Report machine problems to service mechanics and production supervisor as needed. SAFETY * Follow all plant rules and safety rules * Follow housecleaning and sanitation rules * Report all accidents and injuries to supervisor immediately * Report all unsafe acts or conditions to supervisor immediately * Safety glasses must be worn at all times in the plant * Wear hearing protection at all times * Know lock out/tag out procedures * Apply lock out/tag out prior to entering machine, clearing jam ups, cleaning hotplates. * Always wear Kevlar gloves when working with anything sharp. * Apply proper lifting technique when lifting any material. * Know and use the proper protection equipment for the job. * Must maintain all tools in good working condition, and must notify supervisor when repairs or replacement is needed. * Be cautious when walking on conveyor rollers, and use crossovers. * Keep machine area clean. * Know the locations of fire extinguishers, fire hoses and alarms. The starting rate for this position is $22.33, depending on your role, level and location.
