RED Global is looking for a skilled Kafka SRE Support Engineer to join a large-scale enterprise infrastructure team. This role focuses on ensuring the performance, stability, and observability of Kafka-based messaging platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain Apache Kafka and Confluent Kafka clusters Apply upgrades, patches, and improvements to Kafka environments Troubleshoot performance issues and coordinate with engineering teams Monitor systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk Support automation efforts and contribute to infrastructure improvements

Required Skills:

Solid hands-on experience with Kafka and Confluent Kafka in production Understanding of Kafka architecture, cluster health, and topic management Strong problem-solving and communication skills Familiarity with observability tools and DevOps principles is beneficial
