**Summary:**
**SRE, Vulnerability Management and ServerPatching**
This role focuses on ensuring the security and
reliability of server infrastructure through proactive vulnerability management
and efficient server patching, leveraging the Brinqa platform. The SRE will
play a critical role in identifying, prioritizing, and remediating
vulnerabilities, as well as coordinating and executing server patching
activities.
**Key responsibilities:**
+ Managing andenhancing the vulnerability management program, including utilizing Brinqafor vulnerability aggregation, prioritization, and reporting.
+ Identifyingand analyzing vulnerabilities within server infrastructure, includingoperating systems, applications, and network devices, potentially usingtools like Qualys.
+ Collaboratingwith application owners and other teams to define and maintain patchmaintenance windows.
+ Planning,scheduling, and executing server patching activities (operating systemsand third-party software), potentially leveraging automation and toolslike Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM), and WSUS.
+ Developingand maintaining automation scripts and programs to streamline patchingoperations, improve efficiency, and reduce mean time to patch.
+ Investigatingand resolving issues related to server patching and vulnerabilityremediation, including coordinating with other teams and escalating issuesas necessary.
+ Ensuringcompliance with corporate security policies, industry standards, andregulations related to vulnerability management and patching.
+ Generatingreports on vulnerability status, remediation progress, and overallsecurity posture using tools like Brinqa and Qualys.
+ Stayingup-to-date on the latest vulnerabilities, security threats, and patchingbest practices.
+ Defining andassessing patching service levels and success rates.
**Skills and qualifications:**
+ Strongunderstanding of vulnerability management principles and methodologies.
+ Experiencewith vulnerability management tools and platforms, such as Brinqa andQualys.
+ Proficiencyin server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux) and patchingprocedures.
+ Experiencewith automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
+ Familiaritywith ITIL framework concepts.
+ Excellentcommunication and collaboration skills.
+ Ability towork independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Capgemini discloses salary range information
in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed
range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we
would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately

future. The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that
are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to,
geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications,
experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and
business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an
individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base
salary range for the tagged location is $ 100000 -120000 per annum. This role
may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus,
or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off,
medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible
employees.
Note: No amount of pay is considered to be
wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
