Sr.Engineer Control Electronics Requisition ID: 43482 Job Location(s): Oragadam, IN Employment Type: Full Time Segment: Danfoss Power Electronics and Drives Seg Job Function: R&D, Technology and Engineering Work Location Type: On-site **Job Description** Danfoss Drives is looking for an Engineer/Senior Engineer – Control Electronics to join our diverse team at their Oragadam/Chennai Campus, India. **Job Responsibilities** Responsibilities include + Design, selection, specification, and validation of critical components (e.g. MCUs, FPGA, DSP, Communication ICs, etc. + Analyses failures seen on the product and find root cause and implement improvements.Participate in idea generation on cost down possibilities + Support Testing Personals during the Product testin + Familiarity with Product Life cycle change management process and documentatio + Provide technical clarification of designs with suppliers and manufacturin + Work with a multi-disciplinary engineering development team that includes application engineering, controls engineering control hardware design, and test / validation + Work with supply chain teams and qualify components and assemblies during implementations and resolve issues as needed to maintain product and project quality, cost and deliverable + Assist in solving critical customer cases. **Background & Skills** An ideal candidate, + B.E (EEE/ECE) and ME /M.Tech on Embedded Systems/Applied Electronic + Experience of 4 to 7 years on Working knowledge on Control electronics devices (MCUs, FPGAs, DSP, Communication ICs etc..) + Experience in memories like Flash, SRAM, SDRAM and DDR + Experience in Signal Integrity + Experience in various communication medial and protocols like wired, wireless, RS-485, RS-232, RS-422, Profibus/MODBUS/Ethernet IP/EtherCAT etc. + Experience with analog electronics such as ADC, operational amplifiers, Comparators, multipliers, signal conditioning, filters etc + Experience in designing low voltage power supply LDO/Buck/Flyback etc. + Demonstrated ability in usage of measurement equipment like high-speed oscilloscope and packet decoding / SI compliance testing + Demonstrated ability to meet goals and objectives + Effective technical documentation skill + Familiarity with IEC, UL, and CSA regulatory standards + Experience in Analog and Digital circuit design and development + EMI/EMC design, EMI/EMC test/debug, reliability test and system integratio + Experience in using Cadence for PCB Board layout , PCB fabrication, assembly, and testing. + Teamwork, Planning & organizing, Quality Focus, Customer focus, Business Focus, Communication, Result oriented, Interpersonal skills, Networking. **Danfoss – Engineering Tomorrow** At Danfoss, we are engineering solutions that allow the world to use resources in smarter ways - driving the sustainable transformation of tomorrow.
