Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the Export Warehouse - Part by Part business for Thailand Trading Company from Inbound to WH & WH to Outbound, making decisions on business issues and coordinating with Customers, Logistics service provider (LSP), Suppliers & related stakeholders. Foster relationships with internal and external customers, the LLP (Lead Logistics Provider), Liners, FF, and local suppliers to ensure flawless operation. Supervise the LLP to operate in an optimum manner and arrange shipment on time, including Trade compliance for each market. Monitor releases from different customers and ensure timely delivery of containers segregated based on Dock code requirements. Supervise the LLP to have proper inventory control in accordance with Ford systems and customs compliance in the Free Trade Zone. Conduct Inventory Cycle Count Audits of parts at EDC to ensure alignment between system records and physical inventory, and ensure variances are closed with proper approvals. Validate proper export packaging / container vanning in accordance with Ford Packaging standards and customer requirements. Monitor & support the LLP on various activities, including Receiving, Repacking, Kitting, Consolidating, Vanning, Container stuffing, Container Haulage, and Customs Clearance. Coordinate with overseas customers and the IMG SCM team to ensure parts reach customer plants as per requirements, support urgent shipments to minimize premium freight, and avoid customer plant line stoppages. Coordinate with the Taxation & Customs team on related documents for shipments. Align with related stakeholders to ensure flawless program starting for new program launches, new TC launches, and model changes. Maintain in-depth knowledge of Thailand Customs regulations, Free Trade Agreement processes, and Taxation processes. Support the LLP in claim resolution while dealing with internal Ford teams (IMG SCM, Quality, Finance, STA) and suppliers. Review LLP performance metrics and develop action plans to improve each KPI. Drive cost reduction and improve container cube utilization by working with related stakeholders & TVM teams (Total Value Management). Drive disciplined process execution by consistently adhering to policies & working standards to ensure continuous improvement in organizational objectives. Control export operations managed by the LLP and ensured no issues in Internal/External Audits like MCRP, GAO, etc. Control LLP expenses and ensure that spending is within the budgeted value (Facility / Utilities / Equipment & Labor). Verify billing invoices from the LLP, process payment, and ensure the LLP gets paid within the agreed timeline. Maintain knowledge of latest technologies and initiate implementation of RPA, DPA, IoT, etc. Performs other tasks as assigned by the direct supervisorRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Required
Strong understanding of warehousing, EDC Operations, logistics, and supply chain principles. Knowledge of shipment methods and international trade regulations. Data analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and patterns. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Fluent in English speaking, reading, and writing. Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and Logistic Service Providers. Proficient in PC-based software (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Power BI , Alteryx etc.).Preferred
Experience in the automotive industry. Knowledge of Ford systems and processes. Experience with RPA, DPA, and IoT technologies.Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field. 2-3 years & above of experience in Warehousing / logistics / supply chain in the Automotive Business.Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Moderate walking in warehouse shop floor area Ability to travel to suppliers, FTM / AAT plants as needed.Working Conditions
