Sr. Workplace Strategist – Devices & Services, GREF: Regional Portfolio Management - AMER
Amazon
Description
The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) team provides real estate transaction expertise, business partnering, space and occupancy planning, design and construction, capital investment program management and facility maintenance and operations for Amazon’s corporate office portfolio across multiple countries. We partner with suppliers to ensure quality, innovation and operational excellence with Amazon’s business and utilize customer-driven feedback to continuously improve and exceed employee expectations.
We prescribe measurable mechanisms to enhance the employee and customer experience by supplementing quantitative analysis with anecdotal feedback. We believe applying consistency can dilute innovation, whereas, we often experiment and enhance the employee/customer experience by highlighting global and cultural variances.
As a Sr. Workplace Strategist, you will play a critical role in strategically collaborating with the Devices & Services (Devices) organization, focusing on key responsibilities to determine the best space outcomes.
The optimal candidate is an experienced and engaging professional who will excel within an entrepreneurial culture – providing vision, leadership, and communication – not afraid to dive deep into details and take ownership. They should also understand the nuance of being approachable and consultative– providing direction/recommendations and fostering transparent relationships. The candidate must be able to balance frugality with creativity in offering solutions and approach problem-solving with an emphasis on root cause. An ideal candidate is able to navigate high levels of ambiguity and demonstrate a bias for action, taking calculated risks in a fast-paced environment.
