Your work environment at EXP
EXP’s Water Resources Group is currently seeking a Hydraulic Modeler to support surface water projects throughout GTA that involve water resources, project design, and construction services.
The successful candidate will join a growing team of modelers who support land/commercial development, transit drainage, I&I studies, and floodplain mapping clients. The ideal candidate will have some experience with similar project work in the GTA.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
Provide technical input for the delivery of outputs from modeling projects.Some experience undertaking hydraulic model build and calibration along with optimization of design solutions. Produce reports and technical documents. Progress reporting and client liaison.
What your experience looks like
Experience with surface water-related modeling software (PCSWMM, OTT-HYMO, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, InfoWorks, etc.) Demonstrated time management and organizational skills. Assist in the preparation of proposals. Support client liaison, including government departments, local authorities, water and utility companies, and other public bodies. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages.Preferred Qualifications
A Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or similar), or equivalent. Training in specific modeling software packages and their application.EXP subscribes to the Workplace Equity Program.
