How will you make an impact?

As a member of our infrastructure engineering team, you will focus on key pillars: Virtualization, Cloud, and Servers. Your efficient contributions will drive business success and empower our company to enable customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
 

What will you do?

Virtualization Management: Design, implement, and lead virtualized environments using VMware, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.Linux System Administration: Administer and maintain Linux servers, including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and performance.Automation and Scripting: Develop automation scripts using tools such as Ansible, Python, and Terraform to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.Infrastructure tooling: Implement and manage monitoring/configuration solutions to ensure the health and performance of virtual and Linux environments, using tools like NinjaOne and other monitoring platforms.Cloud Integration: Support hybrid cloud environments by integrating on-premise systems with cloud platforms such as AWS, and Azure.Security and Compliance: Ensure systems are aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, PCI, CIS). Implement security standard methodologies and perform regular security audits.Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for environments, ensuring regular testing and updates.Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and processes to ensure operational consistency.Collaboration: Work closely with multi-functional teams, including architecture, operations, security, and application teams, to support business needs and drive technology initiatives.Mentorship and Training: Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior staff, encouraging a culture of continuous learning and development.Problem Resolution: Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex technical issues to ensure system stability and minimize downtime.Standardization: Drive the standardization of processes and procedures across the environments to ensure consistency and standard processes.Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors for support, procurement, and maintenance of virtualization and Linux infrastructure components.
 

How will you get here?

Education

4-year degree with a major in Computer Science/ Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited university, or relevant work experience.
 

Experience

5+ years’ experience in VMware Platform Administration5+ years’ experience with Linux Administration3+ years’ experience with AWS Cloud infrastructure management3+ years’ experience in L3 Infrastructure Operational Support
