In this role, as Sr. Vendor Mgr, Liquidations, you be responsible for building and managing the programs that support new and specialty liquidations businesses for Amazon ReCommerce. It will be your job to ensure that the right product goes through the right channels to optimize recovery value of products across the liquidation’s portfolio. This role requires a strategic leader with program management, vendor management and financial acumen to find new opportunities and build out our existing channels. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to drive a strong and diversified liquidations recovery business, creating and strengthening partnerships with external vendors, and improving customer experience across channels. Key job responsibilities • Owning the new Liquidation channels business and financial performance, input, defect metrics. • Owning the commercial agreements with liquidation vendor business-2-business (B2B customers. • Expanding and managing specialty liquidations programs (i.e. 3P auctions, 1P solutions) to optimize recovery. • Account Management and Program Management of Liquidation Channels. • Making business decisions to optimize recovery across channels. • Improving customer experience for buyers. • Identifying industry trends and identifying the right vendor partners to support the strategic goals and objectives • Setting goals and strategic direction for the business, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and vision. • Representing Amazon when meeting with senior executive teams from top vendors and building long term strategic relationships. • Conducting Request for Proposal (RFP) or strategic negotiations on behalf of Amazon with our external vendors/buyers. • Represent your business with senior leadership at business reviews. • Work cross-functionally with Product Owners, Tech, Business, Finance and Operations partners • Resolving barriers and issues to improved recovery and customer experience. Lastly, you will dive deep into business performance, input and defect metrics for your business to find ways to drive continuous improvement. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
