Sr. Vendor Manager , Retail Softlines

We are seeking an experienced business development leader to drive growth for Softlines (SL) business at Amazon Mexico. With your strong backgrounds in business management and relationships, you’ll play a key role in new business opportunities while developing Amazon´s Softline Private Brand business and will be fundamental to fuel Amazon´s selection within our Flywheel. You are an effective communicator, able to work at a strategic level to develop connections with new vendors in the fashion industry. You will partner with our Vendor Recruiting team, understanding Amazon model in order to effectively help attract new vendors with products that help satisfy our customers’ needs. You will work with cross functional teams to detect potential vendors that make fit within Amazon Softline business. At the same time, you are responsible to grow Amazon´s Private Brand and own fully the P&L. This position requires an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to influence a diverse set of stakeholders across multiple teams. Using your knowledge and a solution -oriented mindset you will develop strategic opportunities.
Key job responsibilities
* Own the P&L for our Private Brand (Softlines), hitting top and bottom line targets
*Detect potential selection opportunities for total Softline's business to complement and satisfy our customers needs.
* Develop strategic relationships with new potential vendors.
* Drive winning negotiations and represent Amazon when meeting with vendor senior leadership
* Lead a cross-functional team, including Marketing, In-Stock to drive superior category & vendor results
* Continuously audit to improve the customer experience and business performance
