Sr. UX Product Designer
Job Title: Senior UX Product Designer

Job Description

As a Senior UX Product Designer, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams employing agile methodologies to define user stories and UX deliverables. You will influence product owner decisions by applying UX best practices, design principles, and research insights, while collaborating with developers to implement the most effective solutions.

ResponsibilitiesCollect, analyze, and present feedback, managing changes to deliverables.Present work clearly and compellingly to stakeholders.Provide timely status updates on all products, including work left to do, issues, and risks.Communicate effectively with all team members to accomplish tasks.Design the visual style, interface, and interaction flow of applications and experiences.Contribute to and adhere to design system patterns.Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypes.Advocate for the user, collaborating with business owners to develop features and flows that align with user needs.Gather and translate rules and assets into UX systems and enterprise solutions.Prepare, manage, update, and distribute UX documentation.Create research strategies based on desired outcomes and develop usability test plans, scripts, and scenarios.Use research techniques to determine the ease-of-use and comprehension of designs.Design, recruit, schedule, and moderate usability studies and user interviews.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Visual Design, Library Sciences, or related disciplines, or equivalent experience or training.5+ years of experience as a UX practitioner with a background in user experience design, interaction design, or similar fields.Strong skills in modern design and prototyping tools, including Figma and Adobe CC.Experience working closely with developers from inception through implementation in an agile environment.Advanced analytical skills for complex data problems and sustainable solutions implementation.Proven ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines, product lines, roles, geographical, and time zone boundaries.Proficiency in using remote unmoderated testing tools and moderated testing devices and platforms.In-depth understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research methods.Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and trends in web and app design.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong organizational skills to intelligently build flows and wireframes for complex applications.Experience in rapidly iterating designs for user testing and delivery to development teams.Proficiency in responsive, adaptive, and accessible designs.Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and communicate effectively with non-technical users.Strong Figma experience is highly valued.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $59.00/hr.
