As a Senior UX Designer in Data Center Automation, you will be working with a team of fellow designers, product managers, and software engineers to build, test, launch, measure, and iterate on the UX that drives this mission forward. This work supports users inside AWS Data Centers by developing products that innovate on day-to-day work and optimize for minimal friction to drive incremental performance gains and reduce human error. This position requires a hands-on, innovative designer who can translate business needs into a customer-focused product.

The AWS Data Center BRIDGE team owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Later, you mentor a wide-eyed junior designer, transforming them from pixel-pusher to strategic thinker in a single whiteboard session. As evening approaches, you're deep in the technical weeds with senior engineers, navigating architectural constraints while protecting the customer experience like a design guardian. In a single day, you've shaped products, influenced strategy, mentored talent, and bridged the gap between customer dreams and technical reality—all while making the impossible look effortless.
