We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to spearhead the evolution of new advertising products that will better connect businesses of all sizes to their customers.
As a key member of the Creative X team within Amazon Advertising, your work will help us create best-in-class products. You’ll be involved in all aspects of product development from brainstorming the next innovation to working collaboratively with user research, engineering, and product management. You will utilize a full range of skill—including: wire framing, interaction design, prototyping, and visual design—to bring these experiences to life. You have comprehensive understanding of the current state of web technology and best practices, with a critical awareness of implications on user-centered design and functionality. Your work will have strategic significance and high exposure. Most importantly, you will have a direct impact on the customer experience of shoppers, advertisers, and brand-owners globally.

Key job responsibilities
* Own and lead design work across the full product lifecycle, from concept to implementation, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
* Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to translate customer insights and business needs into intuitive, elegant design solutions.
* Create user-centered designs by considering market analysis, data, customer feedback, user research and technical constraints/opportunities.
* Quickly and thoroughly create user flows, wireframes, design mockups, and prototypes to effectively conceptualize new product initiatives.
* Relentlessly simplify and distill complex processes into intuitive and elegant UI.
* Establish and maintain detailed user-interface patterns and specifications—working closely with developers to see your design through to deployment.
* Communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
* Present and articulate design rationale to teammates and stakeholders clearly and confidently.
* Partner closely with other product and design teams across Amazon.
* Contribute to team rituals and design critiques to support a culture of craft excellence and continuous learning.
* Mentor junior talent.
