Sr. Unemployment Claims (PST Timezone)
Job Title: Sr. Claims SpecialistJob Description

This is a 100% remote position requiring work on Pacific Standard Time (PST). The role is pivotal in safeguarding the financial relief program and rehire eligibility within Human Resources, necessitating 2-3 years of relevant experience. The start date for this position is June 9th.

ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and investigate partner separations in consultation with Partner Resources and external contacts.Build claim responses and ensure timely, courteous, and professional follow-up to phone calls and emails.Provide coaching and guidance on unemployment policies and procedures to regional partner resource generalists, district managers, and store managers.Deliver strong customer service by effectively managing customer expectations and meeting their needs.Develop effective working relationships with customers, team members, partners, and vendors.Manage multiple cases, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution by following up with customers and vendors.Participate in cross-functional teams to successfully execute programs and projects.Maintain current knowledge on state unemployment processes, Partner Resources policies, procedures, and best practices.Research and analyze specialized state unemployment policies, laws, and regulations.Maintain and protect personal information of current and separated partners.Ensure regular and punctual attendance.
Essential SkillsExperience in customer service.Human resources experience or education is preferred.Strong research, analysis, and problem-solving skills.Case management experience is preferred.Clear and concise communication skills, both oral and written.Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.Knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Adaptability to a fast-paced and changing environment.Proficiency in utilizing multiple software programs simultaneously.Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide information and referrals.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Microsoft Project).
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in claims processing, data entry, human resource administration, and financial relief.Skills in HR support and human resource generalist roles.Experience with insurance and HR administration.
Work Environment

This is a remote position within a close-knit team environment, consisting of 4 full-time employees and contract workers. The team is highly collaborative, engaging in interesting work with opportunities to solve problems and build relationships. The role involves picking up existing work and contributing to ongoing projects.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
