Sr. Transport Executive - Bandra Kurla Complex Job ID 207315 Posted 15-May-2025 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Facilities Management Location(s) Mumbai - Maharashtra - India, Navi Mumbai - Maharashtra - India This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of transport operations, ensuring timely vehicle arrivals, meeting service level agreements (SLAs), and maintaining a safe and compliant transport environment . **Jobs & Responsibilities :** * **Operational Management:** Oversee daily transport activities, including scheduling, route optimization, and driver management. Monitor vehicle arrival times and address any delays. Conduct regular audits of routes, trip sheets, and driver logs. Prepare and distribute transport team rosters. * **Compliance & Safety:** Maintain accurate records of vehicle documents (registration, insurance, emissions, etc.) and ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are met. Enforce company policies regarding driver conduct (e.g., addressing speeding, drunk driving, etc.) and safety protocols. Conduct regular vehicle inspections (including surprise checks) and manage vehicle maintenance. Investigate and report transport-related issues. Ensure appropriate safety measures are in place, including providing escort services for female employees. * **Vendor Management:** Manage relationships with transport vendors, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and service quality. * **Data Management:** Maintain a comprehensive database of vehicle information, driver records, and operational data. Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), including breathalyzer test results, daily vehicle check lists, and driver performance. * **Employee Relations:** Conduct training sessions for drivers and site supervisors on traffic rules and company policies. Facilitate open communication channels to address employee concerns. Maintain driver discipline and ensure a positive work environment. * **Continuous Improvement:** Identify areas for operational improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and safety. Analyse data and feedback to identify trends and address recurring issues.
